Black History Month: Lift Every Voice!

Serving an urban parish gives you a unique perspective on some things.  Once in awhile I hear something silly and think, "That might have come out of my own mouth at one point.  Give him a few years in urban ministry and he might change his mind."

Anyways, as a nod to my parish and African-American Lutherans everywhere, I will feature posts throughout the month to highlight the contributions of African-Americans to the Church.

Please turn to page 964 in Lutheran Service Book and join the Chicago Children's Choir in Lift Every Voice and Sing.
